Mark and JonathanPositive Purchasing was founded in 2003 by Mark Hubbard and Jonathan O’Brien. Since then we have steadily grown into one of the leading strategic purchasing specialists providing education & training, consultancy support, best practice purchasing toolkit and on-line learning and resources.

Our Head Office is in Plymouth's historic Royal William Yard (check out our photo gallery here). The city is famous for Plymouth Hoe, Sir Francis Drake and his legendary game of bowls and for being the place the Pilgrim Fathers set sail from to discover America. The rest is history.

We are an Investor in People
Positive Purchasing holds the  prestigious 'Investor in People'
accreditation. The award was achieved in 2007 following a series of formal assessments against the IIP criteria or 'indicators'. 3 years on from the original accreditation and Positive Purchasing are proud to announce that we have retained the award and are looking to acheive an even higher standard of the accreditation on our next assessment. The Investors in People Standard is a business improvement tool designed to advance an organisation’s performance through its people.
