Positive Purchasing has recently been reassessed regarding its ‘Investors in People’ accreditation. Originally awarded in 2007, the business has since grown in size and is now assessed under much more strict criteria. That being said, we are proud to announce that Positive Purchasing has passed the assessment with flying colours, in fact, not one negative comment was recorded and our auditor recommended the business try to attain an even higher standard of accreditation in three years’ time. This was very encouraging for the business as a whole, as it may help us to achieve ISO9000 accreditation as well. We are happy that the policies and procedures we are putting in place are helping to move the business forward and will only strengthen the unit as we grow. The ‘Investors in People’ standard is a business improvement tool designed to advance an organisations performance through its people.
