Positive Purchasing at CIPS Annual Conference
(28/09/2011)
Positive Purchasing were pleased with the audience at this years' annual conference. The CIPS event took place on October 6th 2011 at Kings Place, London.
This years' event was sure one of the biggest and boldest that the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply have ever hosted. The
2011 CIPS Conference and Exhibition was held at Kings Place in central London on the 6th of October. The theme
‘Creating Value, Generating Growth’, provided a forum for sharing positive experiences and best practice for those working in a much altered environment.
The opening address was given by Channel 4's economic's editor, Faisal Islam and explored the role of Procurement in driving economic growth. His forthright style and delivery are something we enjoyed and gave a really fresh flavour to this years' conference. We at
Positive Purchasing are happy to have met you if you were one of the many folk who stopped by our stand for a chat about our products and services.
We specialise in consultancy and training for Procurement professionals and purchasing departments within global organisations. Sustainable Purchasing and Supplier Relationship Management are two topics within which our training is peerless; and one of our company directors is a published authority on Category Management within Purchasing.
